Retreating is not failing but an act of self-care and renewal.

In a world driven by competition, war, and greed, it is essential for us to retreat for self-reflection and healing.  It is essential for us to discern what is and is not working for us.  To 'lick our wounds' and gain new insight and strength and grace - for ourselves and others.  Ironically, in a world driven by separation, it is sometimes necessary for us to separate ourselves from it all so that we might come back together more whole than ever before.
